Arrow Ceremony

In a revival of a medieval custom, the Mayor of New Ross shoots an arrow into the estuary, as a symbol of the towns authority over the ports. Followed by some traditional music, mulled wine and mince pies in the centre.

Tall Ship Dunbrody
New Ross

Sail Dunbrody week - Waterford Estuary
(day sails)

For 3 days only Dunbrody will offer you the experience of a lifetime to sail for a day on this traditional square rigged tall ship. Sail beneath those 110 ft masts and their gleaming cloud of sail on a voyage off the Wexford and Waterford coasts.

Fee (includes packed lunch and refreshments: €120

(You must be over 16 years of age and you will be encouraged to enter into the spirit of the adventure.)

  • Dunbrody is offering Corporate Sponsorship opportunities during it's 2006 programme which includes her Maiden Voyage Series to Dublin and Milford Haven.

  • Dunbrody also offers a unique Corporate Entertainment Venue all year round in New Ross and in Dublin and Milford Haven during her stays there.

  • Dunbrody is an ideal venue for photo shoots and has been used in period films and dramatic re-enactments.

  • Dunbrody will be at Dublin Docklands Maritime festival June 3  - 5

  • Dunbrody will be at Seafair Haven Festival, Milford Haven June 24 - July 1
