overlook an enchanting walled garden. This Georgian manor, built in
1794 is an elegant retreat in every way. Warm hospitality and
luxurious surroundings provide a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
In a mild frost free
climate, the gardens are beautifully laid out around the Manor. Topiary, lawns, herbaceous and mixed plantings combine
with architectural features and ornaments to provide an enchanting
series of enclosures. A Large water garden extends into woodland
planted with rare and tender trees and shrubs.

November 5th - Sunday 10am - 6pm.
Closed Mondays except Bank Holidays.
Conservatory Tea Rooms serve cream
teas and light lunch.

John F. Kennedy Arboretum
At the
John F. Kennedy Arboretum, there is something for everyone. Covering an expanse of 252
hectares, it contains a visitors centre with audio-visual show, 4500 types of
labeled trees and shrubs, 200 forest plots, sign-posted walks, picnic area and
lake. There is a
motor road to the panoramic viewing point on Slieve Coillte. The arboretum is open all
year round from 10 a.m. daily.
